After awhile he stopped the growl-laughing, sat up and just kind of looked at everybody. It seems like no one was really sure what to do next. Now, before we go any further remember the rule of the animals- in a huge group like this- the animals would not be seen by humans. The second the wolf would step away-it would be back to normalcy but as of now, he was in that circle of protection.
"You're in a good mood," Leo growled to him.
"It's good to see somebody around," the wolf woofed out- giving a gentle paw at the kittens who thought that he was the coolest thing out there.
"What's your name anyway?" Casey asked.
"Dave," he answered shaking out the fur. He was a fine-looking wolf with a thick coat.
Wait a second- I know what you're thinking...
A wolf named Dave???
Yep, Dave and there's nothing wrong with that. What did you think it would be? Willie? Willie the wolf.
Anyway, Leo was confused by Dave's, "good to see people around." "What did you mean no one's around?"
That's when Dave said something really spooky...
"The pack disappeared."
"You're in a good mood," Leo growled to him.
