Snoring

Casey had no idea how to answer that.

Meee-ow! Are you really surprised? And don’t look at us like that!  I mean how in the meow would you wake up a bunch of cats and a group of hippos.  As a matter of fact, Hank was getting so comfy that he looked like a human baby.  Casey was actually wondering if he’d start to say, ‘goo-goo’ soon.

But then again, Casey had been in the sun for a long time.

          Pawing right along…

The Mayor tried it again, “Whutz we gunna do?”

Casey smacked Hank in the face with his tail.  “I have no clue.”

“Why do you thinkz we didn’t getz bittenz by dat ugly bug?” the Mayor asked.

Casey’s whiskers started twitching.  “How in the meow do I know?  I’m no human scientist.”

Well, it was a good question and the answer really was- who knows?  Maybe the big, ugly bug had enough.  Who in the meow knew for sure and who really wants to know?  These boys had a big problem, not just bepaws they were sleeping but bepaws they were snoring.  The snoring kept getting louder and that was making the ground shake.  They were causing an earthquake!!!
