The Reunion

Are you really surprised to hear that Hank washed-up to the shore?  Well, you might not be but the kitties were and Howie was thrilled.  “Hank!  Hank!”  he bellowed.  “You made it!!!”

          Hank was literally pushed to the beach by a big, foamy wave and he was indeed carrying a turtle on his head.  It was a small sea turtle who did a somersault and landed SPLAT in the sand.  Fuzzy heard him say, “Thanks dude.”  And then he scampered down the beach so quickly that he had to have set some kind of turtle speed record.  Anyway, Hank did a huge belly slide and stopped right in front of his brother.  “Howie!!!  How did you get here?”

          Fuzzy and Toni just watched, amazed at the affection that Howie was showing Hank.  He was literally rubbing his body against his which must be the hippo version of a hug and note, the entire scene caught the attention of every kitty on the beach.  When the 2 gave each other head noogies the entire beach seemed to break out into ap-paws!

          Hank was practically crying.  “I didn’t think I’d ever see you again, buddy.”

          The rest of the Purry gang had just caught up to Fuzzy and Toni and were flabbergasted at the fact that Hank was there with a brother.  “Why didn’t he ever say he had a brother?”  Sammie asked Barney.
