All eyes went to Toni and even Big Eddie looked really
interested. “Well,” he meowed, “who am
I?”
Poor Toni looked meowy
confused. It looked like that her brain
went blank. “Ooops,” she meowed, “I
thought you were that cat from tv.”
“What cat?” asked Fuzzy, who was completely confused.
“You know that big
cat on tv that goes around does those rescues,” she meowed.
None of the kitties
had any meowing idea what she was meowing about. To be purr-fectly honest, no one was sure how
she had the time to watch anything anyway.
Big Eddie though surprised everyone with a twitch of the whiskers. “You’re right, Toni. I am on tv.”
All the kitties
stared at him. “Get out,” Paws meowed.
“How did you get
the time to watch tv?” Fuzzy asked Toni.
Toni was so happy
that she was right that she did a little chub dance (Okay, you have to be there
to see it. Trust me, it is cute and yes,
we affectionately call Toni ‘the chub.’)
“How meowing cool is this?” she
asked.
Paws was extremely
impressed. “What kind of rescues do you
do?” he asked.
“Well,” Big Eddie
meowed, “that’s why I was hoping Casey was here.”
