Fuzzy fell backwards and looked down
the beach and she couldn’t believe it. It
was Toni. Meee-huh???? Toni???
Where in the meow did she come from???
Well, it didn’t matter. She was
charging down the beach like a mini hippo.
“Don’t touch it!!!” she yowled
again.
“What in the meow is the matter with
you?” asked Fuzzy, getting her hackles
up. “You look crazy!”
“You can’t touch that!” Toni announced. “It’s dangerous.”
Fuzzy’s whiskers twitched and she even
clawed herself to make sure that she heard that right. “What did you just meow?”
Toni was about 2 feet away from the
shell and she was eyeing it like it was going to explode. “It’s dangerous. I heard about it from the sea lion at the
party. If you touch it- something bad
will happen.”
“Oh you’re goofy,” she meowed pawing
at the sand. She was amazed that it was
still glowing. Finally, she just reached
out and grabbed it.
That’s when the waves came in…
