“Why is it any of your business?” Frankie asked, looking cranky. It was amazing that this was the same dude
who was afraid of Jake just a little while ago.
Jake seemed startled by this too. “You don’t have to get cranky about it,” he
answered. “I was just asking.”
The kitties, in the meantime, were watching
this with twitching whiskers.
Hank
seemed in awe too. His eyes were as big
as saucers. Finally, Fuzzy meowed the
obvious, “Can we just go then?”
Jake stuck his head down in Fuzzy’s
face and meeee-ow was it weird. Did any
of you kitties ever really get stared at by a vulture. Their eyes were just so beady that it was
crazy. However, Fuzzy, over the last couple
of years has turned into a tough kitty.
She wasn’t backing down. Jake, it
seemed like, seemed impressed by this and he got out of Fuzzy’s face after a
couple of minutes. “Hey,” he replied, “I’m
not stopping you.” And with that, he flew
away.
They watched in awe as Jake
disappeared almost immediately. It was
incredible how the dude took off so fast.
Hank broke the silence though by looking up at Frankie and asking, “How
are you going to swim anyway?”
Frankie made that pffft sound that a
horse made and that’s when Fuzzy noticed something really strange about
Hank. “Hey Hank! You’re getting bigger!!!”
