What is Up With This Cat?

 

         All of the kitties just stared at him.  “Well, where is home?”  asked Paws.

          Johnny’s eyes got huge.  “I dunno,” he said.

          This was getting a little too weird for Fuzzy.  “Dude, we’re just trying to help you out,” she said. 

          Paws, however, didn’t seem that sympathetic.  “Are you some kind of con cat?”  he asked.

 

          Now, that got everybody’s attention and Johnny seemed like he was in some kind of haze.  “What did you just meow?”  he asked Paws.

          “You gotta be conning everybody!”  Paws yowled, getting angry.  “What did you do with that hat?” 

          “That’s none of your business,” he growled looking really mean. 

          Ah-hah!  So, Paws cracked him.  “How could you take Santa’s hat???”  Toni wailed.  “You just ruined Christmas!”

          Right after Toni meowed that, that’s when he took a swipe at her with his paw.
