Paws
and Tippy ended up pawing around right when Hank went to sleep. In the meantime, Toni and Fuzzy were taking
in the warm sun and enjoying the sand. “Relax,”
Fuzzy meowed smoothly. “They’re not
going anywhere. They’re just checking
the landscape out.”
“It
sure is purry here,” Toni meowed laying down in the sand and rolling around on
her back. “Meeee-ow this is pawsome.”
“What’s
the name of this beach anyway?” asked
Fuzzy, who couldn’t help but think of her stepdad (Casey) and her uncle Barney-
meeee-wow did those boys love beaches, especially this time of year.
“Sandy
Beach,” Sammy answered scanning the area.
He looked really excited but kind of nervous too. It was weird.
Fuzzy
gave him a goofy look. “Sandy Beach?”
“Yeah,”
he answered, “Sandy Beach.”
Toni,
who at this point was covered with sand, laugh/purred. “That’s pawsome.”
“Meee-wow!” Fuzzy yowled.
“Is dat original or what?”
“Paws
and Tippy are gone,” Sammy said nervously.
“They better be careful.”
Toni
sat up and looked around, with whiskers twitching. “What’s the big deal? They’ll be back,” she meowed.
