Or at least the Mayor has to be kidding. Everyone just kind of stared at him waiting for him to add something but he just kind of stood there looking pleased with the shock that his idea made. Finally, Casey just meowed it.
"What the hell are you meowing about?" he asked.
"Wellz thinkz aboutz it," the Mayor meowed. "That Paw wuz worthz lotz of money. He couldz of sold it."
Casey's whiskers started twitching. "Sold it to who???"
"I think youz iz drunk," Daisy meowed out of nowhere. "Thatz the dumbest idea-"
She was cut off by Hank who was yowling, "He's right! He's right!"
