Sandy Pawing

          “Were you scared?”  asked Sammie, who still had wide eyes.  He knew he wouldn’t get the image of Toni flying through the air out of his head for a long time!

          “Nah,” Toni meowed, “It happened to fast for me to be scared.”

          Paws made a goofy noise and started twitching his whiskers.  “You liar,” he meowed.  “You were screaming like a meowing girl.”

          Now, Toni was confused.  “But I am a girl.”

          Paws gave her a swat paw.  “You know what I mean,” he answered.

          Toni’s eyes narrowed.  “That was a really dumb comment.”

          “No, it wasn’t.  You were yowling like a big baby.”

          The next thing you know these 2 were pawing and clawing each other, while the other cats watched, amused, bepaws they were fighting with the waves crashing in.  Finally, Sammie yowled.  “Hey you two look out!!!  Something just came out of the water!!!”

                   Paws and Toni took a ‘paws’ to look and Toni couldn’t believe it!  The octopus had come back!!!
