“Ghost kitten,”
Fuzzy repeated. “How do you know?”
“That’s a meowy
stupid question,” Tippy meowed.
“You have big
mouth,” Fuzzy yowled looking at Tippy with the whiskers twitching.
Hank stomped his foot,
hard enough that a couple of branches from the maple tree fell down which
scared the fur off of Toni which caused her to hide under the picnic
table. “You two shut-up,” Hank bellowed.
Fuzzy’s eyes were
huge. “Okay, okay! Just don’t stomp anymore!”
Hank calmed in an
instant. “Look,” he said, “that was a
ghost cat and that was a sign from beyond.”
All of the kitties,
including Toni from underneath the picnic table, stared at Hank with wide
eyes. Meee-ow it was too bad that Barney
wasn’t around bepaws Hank seemed to be laying it on thick. “Something from beyond is trying to give us a
message,” he said.
“Casey and Barney!!!” Fuzzy meowed happily with the tail wagging.
Hank snorted at the
Fuzz. “Are you kidding? This is bad stuff we’re talking about.”
