Johnny did know a
shortcut and meows can’t even begin to describe how fast they caught up to
Hank. Johnny and his cubs not only had
remarkable speed, but they had an amazing sense of direction. If you want extreme technicalities, they took
a shortcut through the mountains. How
did the kitties keep up with Johnny?
Well, it was funny what a kitty could do when you mention the name Santa
Claus. It’s like you get an extra
pumping up. Also, Johnny let Fuzzy,
Toni, Tippy and Paws ride his back for some of the way too. Mike and Tigger also rode some but to be
purr-fectly honest, they seemed like they were enjoying racing with the cubs.
And trust Fuzzy when she
meows that there is nothing like riding a lynx in the snow.
As for Hank, the dude
was plowing through the snow like a huge snowplow with Santa’s hat on his head,
seemingly headed purr-fectly for the North Pole. After all, Fuzzy did see that famous red and
green sign shaped like a reindeer with that said: NORTH POLE 20 MILES and that
was paw-mazing in itself.
“How did you know to come this way?” Toni asked, amazed at Hank’s tenacity.
“I just had to get that hat back to Santa,” answered Hank,
making chugging sounds.
“What’s up with you?”
asked Tippy. “You’re acting
weird.”
“It’s the hat!”
Johnny announced. “He put it on
and now he’s acting like a possessed choo-choo train.”
Meee-wow, that’s some hat.
