Pals, I'll tell you what I finally got a chance to check up with email (yeah I know it's a bad habit letting it pile up) but I didn't hear about Timmy's dad until now. Has anyone adopted his cats? I sure hope so!!! Pals, this is an excuse and everyone has problems, but I've been very erratic in the cat blogging world due to a lot of personal circumstances like taking care of my mom, work, etc. Please- update me about Timmy's cats. Thanks everybody! Now, let me say something about Timmy-
Timmy's dad seemed like a great guy. I really appreciated him visiting and leaving great comments about the blog. It was a pleasure knowing him for such a short time. He will be missed, BIG TIME. RIP- Pete and here's to your great cats. I hope they found a home!
Check "Cats With Blogs" on Facebook for more details, but yes, all four of the cats were adopted by a neighbor who had cared for them while Pete was in the hospital. Even Miss Fitz has begun to settle in with her mancat brothers. Pete made provisions in his will (which isn't probated yet) and set aside some funds for their care right away.
ReplyDeleteHis death was unexpected, He had felt sick for a time but did not realize how sick, according to one of his friends.
Don't know about the ferals he cared for, but he worked with several cat rescue resources so they will probably be taken care of too.
It is a huge loss for all of us who love cats.
