Tommy Knows

          “We has got ta find da Smoke,” the Mayor declared with a firm meow, stating (of course) the obvious.  “We has better get going.”

          Ace, who was kind of in a ticked off mood, from being drug away from romancing a cute lioness asked, “Anybody know where she went?”

          Everybody seemed confused.  Paws tapped the floor of the boat, in deep thought and whiskers twitched.  Finally Tommy of all kitties meowed out, “Last time I saw her she was riding on a hippo!”

          All eyes and all whiskers seemed to turn to Tommy at the same time which was actually kind of creepy in his mind!  In made him sort of back into the corner.  “Why are you all looking at me like that?”

          “That’s meowy nutty!”  Barney yowled.  “How could she be riding a hippo?”

          “I think you’re making this up,” Casey meowed, whiskers twitching really fast.

          Tommy was really starting to get indignant by now.  “I’m not making this up!  I did see her on a hippo with two other cats!”
