Frank was confused. "What do you mean?"
"You can't sit around here and always mope," Baby meowed rationally. Yeah, she was rational but it sounded so cold! It caused Frank's eyes to water again.
"I'm sorry," he said in a really pathetic voice.
Everybody was glaring at Baby now and Hank looked like he wanted to sit on her. "ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOURSELF?" he asked.
Baby felt like she was getting smaller and smaller- to the point that she was shrinking into the corner. Casey put his paw up to calm everyone down. "Listen," he meowed, "we're being really rotten to each other like these stupid humans who keep talking politics."
All of the kitties made faces at that. Barney and a couple of the Trouties even made a gagging noise.
Who needed that. The Mayor finally came up with a great idea, "Whyz cantz we do something to come up with an ideaz to stop da humans from killing all da animals?"
