The Burd Says...

Of course, there was scattering, shrieking and yowling as the kitty’s dove for cover.  Tippy started to shriek and Fuzzy actually thought that the big, old burd had him by the tail but the weirdest thing happened.

The dude landed on Hank’s back.

Meeee-huh????  You’re kidding right?  You have to be kidding…

Nope, the Snowy Owl was resting comfortably on Hank’s back and the funny thing is he didn’t look like he cared.  Then again, it could’ve been due to the fact that Hank was huffing and puffing after a marathon sprint.  After about a five minutes though, Hank noticed the owl and yowled, “Get the hell off of me, you BURD!”

But the dude didn’t move.  As a meow of fact, he started doing that weird owl thing where they turn their heads in every direction.  It was driving Fuzzy nuts!  “Stop doing that!”  she yowled.

The funny thing was he listened to Fuzzy but he didn’t budge from Hank’s back.  Big Eddie was fascinated.  “What are you doing here, little dude?

“Why is he still on my back?”  whined Hank.

Nobody was paying attention to Hank, the owl had something really important to say.  “Little dude,” Big Eddie meowed, “you have to come back to the North Pole.  You have a family up there that misses you.”

The owl studied Eddie with huge eyes which was really spooking everyone out.  The weird thing was that he seemed like he had something to say but couldn’t get it out.  “Well,” Fuzzy meowed, “say something.”

The owl, finally, let out one word, “Help…”
