You probably guessed- it was a vulture. Oh no it wasn’t one of those old Turkey
Vultures either. Naturally, the kitties
had no idea what type of vulture it was but he was purr-ty scary-looking. He looked to be about 4 ft. long and those
wings seemed like they could’ve been about 10 feet long. He kept holding them out to show-off to the
boys and their eyes kept getting bigger and bigger. What in the meow could this dude paws-ibly
want?
“Meeee-ow, is he ugly,” Sammie whispered, fascinated by the
vulture’s white head and neck. He couldn’t
get over the length either. “How long do
you think his neck is?”
“How in the meow would I know?” Paws responded, watching the vulture flap his
wings again. “Why do you think he’s
doing that?”
“How would I know?”
Sammie asked indignantly, getting a little miffed that Paws wouldn’t
take him seriously. He looked at the
vulture who was just watching them with small eyes and he also seemed like he
was stretching his neck closer…
And closer…
And closer….
Sammie hopped behind Paws, so he wouldn’t have to look at
the vulture. Paws, who couldn’t take his
eyes off of him was really scared by now.
Wasn’t it some kind of weird sign if you saw a vulture? Did it mean they were going to die? “What do you want???” Paws yowled.
“Go away and leave us alone!”
